Julie was an amazing photographer. She went above and beyond to help get the most perfect photos for our big day. Not only did she send me templets to help make my decisions, but she was extremely flexible and captured photos of every occasion. The best part was.. THE CANDIDS! M. I originally stumbled across Julie's work while doing a search for Omaha photographers on Instagram. I was having a somewhat untraditional wedding in that I did not have a wedding party or a reception. I was looking for someone who was willing to do a customizable package because I didn't want to spend a fortune on a photographer when I only needed one for about half of a day. I sent Julie a message detailing what I was looking for and she sent me back a reply within a couple hours (side note: this was not an unusual response time for her-every email I sent to her was replied to that quickly)…
Julie did SUCH a fantastic job with both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures! For our engagement pictures it was so easy to be comfortable in front of the camera with her and she does such a great job personalizing the experience for each couple, even down to playing a personalized playlist with all our favorite songs during shooting! For our wedding pictures Julie and James were just so much fun to be around and I am amazed at their ability to capture every special moment. We LOVE our wedding pictures!! Julie is also quick with her editing and turnaround times with all her pictures. I can not recommend her enough!!
My husband and I were so happy with our choice to go with Julie! From the moment we met her, we could see how genuine and sweet she was, and her passion for photography! I met Julie and her husband James of M. Julie Photo when they photographed my best friend's wedding. I was newly engaged at the time and loving this season of life where my friends were getting to receive the greatest gift of marriage. Julie and I had never met. Yet, the second she walked in the door, I felt like an old friend had joined our special circle of friends there to support our bride. We hired M.Julie as our wedding photographer after a friend recommended her services, and we are so happy we did! From the beginning, we had an amazing experience with Julie. My husband doesn’t care for taking pictures that much, but he had a great time with Julie! She was able to make the experience fun! We had some non-traditional ideas for engagement photos and she by far exceeded our expectations with them! During our wedding, her and her husband were all over taking pictures so we didn’t miss any memories. We had a very hard time picking out our favorite photos as there was so my good ones! She was well worth every penny! I highly recommend her. We will definitely be asking her to take more pictures in the future!
