My name is Maria Julie, owner of M. Julie Photo!

For years, I built M. Julie Photo around documenting weddings, engagements, families, seniors, and the people and moments that matter most.

Today, my work has evolved into commercial photography, where I bring that same people-focused, storytelling approach to brands, businesses, restaurants, organizations, and publications. Fun fact: I was doing commercial work at the inception of my career whilst working as a graphic designer in print and packaging!

My commercial work includes food, product, lifestyle, portraits, architecture, and editorial photography, primarily throughout Omaha and Nebraska, with projects beyond the region as well.

I was born and raised in a small village in Mexico by my loving parents, alongside my younger and older sister. I’m married to my best friend (pictured here with me). Family is the driving force behind everything I do, my whole life revolves around them.

You should know that I put all of my heart into everything I get the opportunity to work on. While it’s true that I’ve photographed plenty of campaigns, weddings, portraits, etc., I am always humbled and honored that I get to keep doing it.
